Legal Obligations: Where processing is required by applicable law.
4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Brand Partners and Opportunity Sources
This is the core commercial function of our platform. When we source opportunities on your behalf, or when you express interest in a specific opportunity, we share relevant portions of your athlete profile with brand partners, media companies, talent buyers, and opportunity sources. This may include your name, sport and athletic experience, social media handles and profile URLs, content categories, racial and ethnic background (where relevant to the opportunity), audience demographic data, action photo, and media kit. We share this information to facilitate introductions, pitch you for deals, and negotiate partnerships on your behalf. We do not share your personal contact information (email, phone number) with third parties without your explicit consent.
Service Providers and Platform Infrastructure
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who support our operations:
Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and subscription management (stripe.com/privacy)
Framer — website hosting, front-end delivery, and related web analytics
GoHighLevel — CRM platform used to store member data, manage communications, track opportunity pipelines, and support account management
Other vendors providing cloud hosting, data storage, email delivery, analytics, and security services
All service providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only as directed by us and consistent with this privacy notice.
Aggregated and De-identified Data
We may share aggregated, anonymized data about our member base — such as platform-wide audience demographic trends or content category distributions — with brand partners, investors, or the public. This data does not identify any individual member.
Business Transfers
In connection with any merger, acquisition, sale of company assets, or financing, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer via email or prominent notice on our platform.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information where required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing or advertising purposes.
5. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to collect and store information when you visit our Services, including through our Framer-hosted website. These technologies help us understand how users interact with our platform, maintain session state, and improve user experience. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or through any cookie management tools available on our site.
6. HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?
We may offer you the option to register or log in using an existing social media account. If you choose this option, we receive certain profile information from that provider — typically your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information only for the purposes described in this privacy notice. We recommend reviewing the relevant social media provider’s privacy policy directly.
7. IS YOUR INFORMATION TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY?
Our servers and third-party service providers — including Stripe, Framer, and GoHighLevel — may store and process your information in the United States or other countries. If you are accessing our Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your information remains protected in accordance with this privacy notice and applicable law.
8. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We retain your personal information — including your athlete profile, activity history, Ask Aura interaction history, media files, audience data, and opportunity records — for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide our Services, and as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this notice. We also retain data as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When you cancel your membership or close your account, you may request deletion of your personal information by contacting support@theauraathlete.com. We will delete or anonymize your data from active systems within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal retention requirements. Note that some information may remain in backup systems for a period of time before it can be permanently deleted. Certain records — such as transaction history and communications related to completed deals or representation agreements — may be retained for longer periods for legal, tax, and business record-keeping purposes.
9. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our platform infrastructure and third-party providers (Stripe, Framer, GoHighLevel) each maintain their own industry-standard security practices. However, no electronic transmission or storage system is 100% secure. While we work diligently to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security against unauthorized access. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
10. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
Our Services are intended for college and professional athletes who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from or market to individuals under 18. By using our Services, you represent that you are at least 18. If we learn that data from a user under 18 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and promptly delete the data. To report any such situation, contact support@theauraathlete.com.
Note: Although our audience demographics section includes age bands for audiences under 18 (as athletes may have followers in those age groups), this data describes an athlete’s audience, not the athlete themselves, and does not constitute collection of data from minors.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
The right to access and obtain a copy of your personal information
The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@theauraathlete.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable data protection law. Note that exercising certain rights — such as requesting deletion of your profile data — may limit our ability to match you with opportunities or represent you on the platform.
